United States of Care Responds to the Senate Finance Committee’s Request for Information on Private Insurance: Health Coverage That Works For Everyone
Today, United States of Care (USofCare) submitted comments in response to Senate Finance Committee Ranking Member Ron Wyden’s request for information (RFI), entitled “Health Coverage That Works for Everyone.
Through USofCare’s work in the states and listening to people’s experiences with the health care system, we are able to identify unique insights from patients on the ground to amplify for uptake at the federal level. USofCare’s comments provide feedback on a range of RFI policy proposals to reform health coverage in America, including lowering premiums and deductibles, expanding coverage options, simplifying enrollment, ending insurance company practices that delay and deny care, and limiting corporate business practices that drive up health care costs.
We appreciate the opportunity to respond to this RFI.
