United States of Care Responds to 2026 IPPS Rule
On June 10, United States of Care (USofCare) submitted comments in response to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ (CMS) proposed rule, entitled “Medicare Program; Hospital Inpatient Prospective Payment Systems (IPPS) for Acute Care Hospitals and the Long-Term Care Hospital Prospective Payment System and Policy Changes and Fiscal Year 2026 Rates; Requirements for Quality Programs; and Other Policy Changes.”
USofCare’s comments focus on the proposed updates to the Transforming Episode Accountability Model (TEAM), as part of our work to increase access to patient-first care, in addition to the proposed removal of measures for hospital quality programs.
We appreciate the opportunity to respond to the proposed rule.
