United States of Care Announces Hire Of Carl Davis Jr. as Chief Development Officer
Washington, D.C. — Today, United States of Care announced the hiring of Carl Davis Jr. as Chief Development Officer. He will head the organization’s fundraising strategy and continue to expand USofCare’s leadership across health care.
With nearly two decades of experience leading fundraising efforts for both domestic and international nonprofit organizations, he brings a unique perspective to the organization during an important transitional period.
“We’re thrilled to have Carl as our new Chief Development Officer. His expertise, energy, and passion in every facet of development and fundraising will help United States of Care reach new heights as we work to build the health care system of the future,” said Natalie Davis, CEO and co-founder of United States of Care.
“We are so excited to have Carl continue to champion our unique and innovative advocacy efforts and substantively expand our network to maximize impact,” added Davis.
“We need a healthcare system that unburdens people. I’m grateful to bring my skills and experience to an organization that believes we can imagine and create something better, something more humane. That we can because we have to. That the alternative is just unacceptable,” shared Carl.
Most recently, he served as Chief Development Officer at GIRL EFFECT, an international organization dedicated to helping adolescent girls unlock their power and potential. Prior to that, he had stints at Search For Common Ground, RARE, and his alma mater, Ball State University.
Carl is based in Washington, D.C. where he lives with his partner.
