United States of Care Responds to Senators Whitehouse and Cassidy’s Request for Information on Primary Care

Published On July 16, 2024

On July 15, 2024, United States of Care (USofCare) submitted a response to a Request for Information (RFI) from Senator Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI) and Senator Bill Cassidy (R-LA) regarding primary care and the proposed Pay PCPs Act

The Pay PCPs Act and other federal proposals represent an opportunity for the federal government to build on and improve primary care. We encourage Congress to pursue meaningful solutions to improve and increase access to primary care and facilitate a transition to a “patient-first care” system that values quality over quantity of care.

USofCare appreciates the opportunity to respond to the RFI and will continue to work with partners and policymakers on both the federal and state levels to ensure people have access to quality, comprehensive primary care.
