USofCare Responds to President Trump’s Proposed FY2026 Budget
Washington, DC — Earlier today, President Trump made clear his priorities for advancing his administration’s agenda through budget recommendations across federal government programs and agencies. In response to the president’s proposed budget for Fiscal Year 2026, United States of Care (USofCare) released the following statement:
“USofCare agrees with the Trump Administration’s stated goals to advance policy that achieves a healthier America. And while ensuring alignment within federal programs is one approach the administration is taking to do that, other reductions to health care services and research that people have come to depend on would undermine that vision.
“Investments in public health and research fuel innovation and catalyze change for better health that we know people want for themselves and their families. We look forward to working with this administration and Congress to maintain access to the health care people rely on at a price they can afford so people can live their healthiest lives.”
