May 25 Virtual Event: CMS Vision for the Future of Medicare

Published On June 1, 2022

In this conversation with Dr. Meena Seshamani, MD, PhD, Deputy Administrator and Director for the Center for Medicare, we hear first hand about the CMS Vision for the Future of Medicare followed by audience Q&A. Hosted by USofCare CEO and Co-Founder, Natalie Davis.

On Wednesday, May 25, 2022, United States of Care (USofCare) held a virtual event with Dr. Meena Seshamani, MD, PhD, Deputy Administrator and Director for the Center for Medicare, to discuss the importance of CMS’s vision for Medicare to advance health equity, drive patient-centered care so that everyone can have high-quality, whole person care, and promote affordability and sustainability.

Following the discussion, Davis and Dr. Seshamani engaged in an audience Q&A session further touching on CMS’s priorities to tackle concerns of health equity in our communities.

A major part of USofCare’s work is to bring together diverse groups from across the health care space in our mission to build a better and more equitable system in the wake of the pandemic. These connections help us keep striving for a system where people’s coverage is dependable and understandable, their care is personalized, and where we can all have certainty that our care will be affordable.

Thanks to Dr. Seshamani and CMS for joining us!
