Kristin Wikelius will lead the effort to identify state-based, scalable policy solutions. She will oversee state and federal policy work, enabling the organization to work towards finding solutions that put health care over politics.
Kristin comes to US of Care with deep experience in the health policy sector. Most recently, she served in the Office of Legislation at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) since 2010, where she worked on issues related to Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance. Prior to her service at CMS, Kristin worked on Capitol Hill for nearly a decade providing counsel to members of Congress, including Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) and Congresswoman Lynn Woolsey (D-CA).
Kristen holds a BA from Williams College and a Masters in Public Affairs (MPA) from the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University.
