Kevin Perez-Allen

Chief Communications Officer

Kevin Perez-Allen is United States of Care’s Chief Communications Officer.

A 17-year veteran of the political and advocacy nonprofit spaces, Kevin has developed and led integrated communications campaigns for national organizations, political candidates, and state and local ballot measure campaigns both nationally and in his native California. His background includes leading media relations efforts at the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials (NALEO) Educational Fund, serving as a Press Secretary in the California State Assembly, and National Security Leaders for Biden, where he directed Hispanic media outreach efforts during the 2020 Presidential Election cycle.

Most recently, he served as Vice President of Issue Advocacy at national public relations firm BerlinRosen, where he managed strategic communications efforts for a client roster that included the Center for American Progress (CAP), Fighting For Our Vote coalition, Pennsylvania Senate Democratic Campaign Committee, and Yale University School of the Environment.

He is an alumni of Whittier College where he earned a B.A. in political science.

In his spare time, Kevin is a musician, athlete, and avid fan of the Los Angeles Dodgers, Lakers, Rams, and Kings. Originally from Southeast LA, he now resides in Washington, D.C. with his wife and two cats. They welcomed their first child, Lucia Alicia, born on Halloween 2021.
