Eric Waskowicz

Senior Policy Manager

Eric serves as Senior Policy Manager at United States of Care, where he evaluates state and federal politics and conducts research to advance access to quality, affordable health care.

Eric previously served as Manager of the American Academy of Family Physicians’ (AAFP) Center for State Policy in Washington, DC. In that role, he developed resources, provided technical assistance, and lent support to 57 state- and state-equivalent AAFP chapters in furthering legislative and regulatory policies to improve the health and well-being of patients, family physicians, and the health care system more generally. Prior to his time with the AAFP, Eric served as Legislative Correspondent for Senator Jeanne Shaheen of New Hampshire, focusing on health care, energy, and environmental issues.

Eric has a BA in government and geography from Dartmouth College. He lives in Denver, Colorado, and can usually be found hiking, skiing, running, or planning his next adventure abroad.
