Annie Yu is the Policy Innovation Manager at United States of Care, where she supports the design and implementation of people-centered policies that improve access to health care and advance health equity.
Most recently, Annie consulted with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NC DHHS) to provide policy recommendations on the state Medicaid program and identify strategies to improve maternal and child health and sickle cell disease care. Previously, Annie worked at Acumen, LLC, where she analyzed regulatory and legislative changes to Medicare outpatient services, and the American Lung Association, where she analyzed Medicaid coverage of lung health and tobacco cessation services.
Annie earned her Master in Public Affairs (MPA) from Princeton University’s School of Public and International Affairs and her BA from UC Berkeley.
