As a part of our ongoing #VoicesOfRealLife series, we are connecting with folks across the country to share how COVID-19 is impacting their lives, their work, and their communities.

This global pandemic is both isolating and bringing us together in new ways. D, who is a mother of three, already has an aunt and an uncle who have been hospitalized with COVID. As this pandemic progresses, her fears and anxiety for her friends and family (especially her youngest child who has a rare blood disorder) is balanced by the connections she shares with others and the comfort of knowing they are not all in this alone.
