Published On June 23, 2023

United States of Care has submitted a statement for the record to the United States Senate Finance Committee, commenting on the Committee Hearing on Consolidation and Corporate Ownership in Health Care: Trends and Impacts on Access, Quality, and Costs.

In our statement, we urge Chairman Ron Wyden (D-OR) and Ranking Member Mike Crapo (R-ID) to address underlying forces that increase health care prices for people to deliver a more affordable health care system.

USofCare will continue to work with state partners to advance policy that promotes affordable health care for people, and we stand ready to engage with Congress as it navigates these policy solutions for federal uptake. Congress must advance policy solutions that meaningfully deliver on affordable health care for people.
