United States of Care Responds to the Notice of Benefit and Payment Parameters Proposed Rule
On March 13, United States of Care (USofCare) submitted comments in response to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ (CMS) proposed rule, entitled “Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act; HHS Notice of Benefit and Payment Parameters for 2027; and Basic Health Program”.
USofCare’s comments highlight concerns with a number of policies included in this proposed rule and their impact on affordability and access to quality health insurance; and urges CMS not to finalize them. Cost is the most prominent issue people face in health care, and these proposals will exacerbate affordability challenges and create barriers for people seeking care.
We appreciate the opportunity to respond to the proposed rule.
