Lezah is the Senior Manager of Federal Affairs at United States of Care where she leads United States of Care’s federal legislative advocacy and engagement with federal policymakers and stakeholders to expand access to affordable health care through people-centered policy.
Lezah previously worked at Planned Parenthood Federation of America where she led advocacy on a range of federal-level reproductive and women’s health issues including maternal health, health equity, immigration and the health care workforce. Additionally, Lezah served as the Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Legislative Correspondent for U.S. Senator Gary Peters and worked for former U.S. Representative Sandy Levin (MI).
Lezah holds dual Bachelors of Arts in Government & Politics and Criminology & Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland, College Park, and resides in Baltimore, Maryland with her rescue Chihuahua-Dachshund mix, Charlie.
