
Lezah is the Senior Manager of Federal Affairs at United States of Care where she brings over seven years of experience in health care policy and advocacy. At United States of Care she leads federal legislative advocacy to promote durable people-centered reforms for reducing the high cost of care and expanding access to affordable health care.
Lezah previously worked at Planned Parenthood Federation of America where she led advocacy on a range of federal-level reproductive and women’s health issues including maternal health, health equity, and the health care workforce. Additionally, Lezah worked on Capitol Hill as Congressional health staff to U.S. Senator Gary Peters and former U.S. Representative Sandy Levin.
Lezah holds Bachelors of Arts in Government & Politics and Criminology & Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland, College Park and resides in Baltimore, Maryland with her rescue Chihuahua-Dachshund mix, Charlie.
