Brianna Miller

State Advocacy Manager

Brianna Miller serves as a State Advocacy Manager at USofCare, where her primary focus is on advancing state-level advocacy campaigns to promote practical policy solutions aimed at building a healthcare system that works for everyone.

Before joining USofCare, Brianna held the position of Health Policy Specialist at Children’s Action Alliance in Phoenix, Arizona. In this role, she concentrated on issues related to enhancing access to care for low-income, immigrant, and BIPOC families. Her responsibilities included supporting policies aimed at increasing eligibility and improving enrollment in Arizona’s Medicaid program. Additionally, Brianna collaborated closely with the Arizona Oral Health Coalition, working to emphasize oral health as an integral component of healthcare through the adoption of an adult dental benefit.

Brianna’s dedication to health justice began during her time as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Botswana. There, she engaged in school and community-based projects with a focus on building capacity to address HIV by integrating public health and education in primary schools.

Brianna holds a Master’s degree in Social Justice and Human Rights from Arizona State University and outside of work, she enjoys scuba diving, traveling, and spending quality time with her husband and Scottish Terrier. She currently resides in North Carolina.
