USofCare’s 2025 Federal Priorities for Health Care Reform

United States of Care (USofCare) is committed to transforming health care in the U.S. to better meet the needs of everyday people. Through our work in states, we aim to build the runway for federal reforms by elevating policy solutions that deliver on people’s health care needs. In this document, we highlight our vision for nonpartisan, durable federal reforms that will provide people with access to affordable, dependable, and high-quality care.  

Our priorities for federal health care reform encourages policymakers to:

  1. Reduce The High Cost Of Health Care Through Reforms That Enable Competition, Choice, And Transparency Across The Hospital Sector; 
  2. Support Patient-Centered Delivery System Transformation Through Innovative Care And Reimbursement Reforms;
  3. Give People Options For Maintaining High-Quality, Affordable Health Care; and,
  4. Enable Digital Health Care Tools That Will Build A More Fair And Healthy System.
