United States of Care and Partner Organizations Provide Comment to Oregon Policymakers on the Implementation of the Oregon Health Plan-Bridge Program
On April 19th, United States of Care joined partner organizations to provide comments in response to several proposed rules released by the Oregon Health Authority to facilitate implementation of the state’s new Oregon Health Plan (OHP)-Bridge Program. Our comments emphasized the importance of a program that minimizes costs to beneficiaries, adheres to the same health equity standards as OHP, and helps Oregonians understand their care and more easily navigate the health care system.
We continue to work with partners on the ground in Oregon to support a successful implementation of the OHP-Bridge Program, which provides a strong foundation to increase affordable coverage options for Oregonians while building upon existing state efforts to promote health equity.
