The Colorado Option Advances Equitable Access to Health Care Through Implementation of Culturally Responsive Provider Networks

Colorado has been hard at work gearing up for its official launch of the Colorado Option in January 2023. United States of Care has worked with partners in the state to support passage and ongoing implementation of the Colorado Option. This groundbreaking legislation specifically aims to make coverage more affordable with a focus on addressing health disparities and advancing health equity, including with the establishment of culturally responsive provider networks

In the below resource, we have outlined these and other provisions of the Colorado Option that aim to advance health equity and highlight opportunities for other states to build on this work.
