The Colorado Option Advances Equitable Access to Health Care Through Implementation of Culturally Responsive Provider Networks

Since the Colorado Option was signed into law in June 2021, United States of Care has worked to with in-state partners to support the law’s ongoing implementation. This groundbreaking legislation makes coverage more affordable with a focus on addressing health disparities and advances health equity, including with the establishment of culturally responsive provider networks.

In the below resource, we have outlined these and other provisions of the Colorado Option that advance health equity and highlight other state and federal efforts to address disparities.
