Summer received her doctorate in physical therapy from Samuel Merritt University in California. She is a physical therapist by trade and goofball by heart. She has experience working with clients across age ranges and settings including both school and medical-based physical therapy for those with neurological, orthopedic, developmental, and musculoskeletal conditions. Additionally, she has experience with both indoor and outdoor adaptive exercise courses for adults with disabilities.
Outside of physical therapy, Summer has an extensive background in mental health advocacy work at both a local and national level. She prides herself on strong communication skills and empathetic connection with clients. Always curious, she seeks to understand before being understood and always welcomes questions.
