Ken Nakazawa is the Program Assistant with United States of Care for both the Research and Community Engagement Department and the Solutions Innovation Lab.
Before joining United States of Care, Ken was a health insurance Navigator with Pisgah Legal Services, a civil legal nonprofit in Western North Carolina. In addition to conducting Affordable Care Act enrollments and outreach to low-income communities, Ken served as a Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Site Coordinator. Prior to his role at Pisgah Legal Services, Ken was the Program Assistant with the NC State College of Agriculture and Life Sciences Office of Diversity and Inclusion, where he helped develop internal DEI initiatives.
Ken is an alumnus of North Carolina State University, where he received his B.A. in Political Science.
