United States of Care Provides Comment to Oregon Policymakers on the Health Care Market Oversight Program

Last week, United States of Care submitted feedback in response to the Oregon Health Authority’s call for feedback on the guiding principles and framework used by the Health Care Market Oversight Program (HCMO) to review proposed transactions. Our comments emphasized the importance of Oregon’s market oversight program as one of the most comprehensive health care merger review processes in the country, and our support of the framework’s focus on evaluating how transactions impact patient access and affordability for Oregonians.
