Position Overview and Responsibilities
USofCare is seeking a Digital Communications Coordinator to join our team of passionate, adaptable, accountable, innovative problem-solvers dedicated to making our health care system better for all people.
The Digital Communications Coordinator is a critical member of the Communications Team, responsible for managing a comprehensive digital communications strategy for the organization. As USofCare continues to grow and lead in influencing commonsense health policy change, the Digital Communications Coordinator has a substantial role to enhance the overall influence of the organization’s brand and reputation. The Digital Communications Coordinator will apply industry best practices and strategic implementation of all digital media efforts, including graphic design, paid media coordination, website management, social media strategy, newsletters, and other collateral to serve the goals of the organization’s policy and programmatic goals and to fulfill its potential as the national leader in people-centered health care policy.
The Digital Communications Coordinator will be an effective project manager, and will collaborate across the organization to produce high quality, original content for all USofCare channels. This role’s project management portfolio will span from ideation and brainstorming to execution to evaluation, and will include managing editorial calendars; digital communications plans; marketing campaigns; and strategic evaluations for effectiveness and influence.
Qualifications
- To be successful in this role, you must have a strong commitment to ensuring everyone has access to quality, affordable health care, and have a dedication to operating in a diverse, bipartisan, learning atmosphere that explores multiple policy solutions to achieve our mission. You are willing to respect different points of view, and are committed to applying an equity lens and prioritizing diversity, equity, and inclusion principles in all your work;
- At least two years of professional experience in public policy, political, and/or advocacy campaigns creating digital content, graphic design, digital communications channels management, and direction of quality social media content that drives engagement;
- This role will utilize several platforms to execute a successful strategy, experience with the following platforms or similar technologies will be useful: social media platforms, Adobe Creative Suite software, MailChimp, WordPress CMS, Canva, Google Analytics, and Meltwater. Additional experience in graphic design, website development, and video editing technology like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery is preferred;
- Enjoy working on a team. This role will require an ability to manage up, and to balance innovation and creativity with organization to accomplish goals and meet deadlines, and the willingness and ability to build trust and foster an inclusive environment with colleagues and partners.
Work at United States of Care
USofCare is committed to equity in our compensation policy. The salary range for this position is $50,000 – $60,000 depending on experience and location.

This position is full-time and is fully remote. Candidates may be located anywhere in the United States.
