Amanda Storm Schuster joins United States of Care as Senior Director of Development where she leads the fundraising and development programs. She is privileged to work with the generous donors and partners who provide the critical resources needed for achieving long-lasting solutions to make health care better for everyone.

With more than fifteen years of non-profit leadership and fund development experience, Amanda is a respected leader known for strength in major gifts, board and volunteer management and team leadership. Most recently, she served as Vice President for Advancement at the Women’s Foundation of Minnesota where she oversaw their comprehensive fundraising program, including their $9M Young Women’s Initiative which was co-led by the Governor’s Office of Minnesota. Prior to her work at the Foundation, Amanda contributed her leadership with the University of Minnesota’s $1 billion campaign for medicine and health, which sparked her interest and passion for healthcare equity and access.

Growing up in rural Minnesota, and as a first-generation college graduate, Amanda saw first-hand the impact that opportunity and access can have on individuals, families and communities. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications, with an emphasis on Public Relations and Advertising from Concordia College, Moorhead, Minnesota. She spends her free time volunteering with various non-profit organizations and is involved with Lyndale Neighborhood Association in Minneapolis, Minnesota where she lives with her spouse and mercurial cat.
