Lois Dankwa is Public Engagement Manager at United States of Care with a passion for health equity. She is devoted to research that amplifies meaningful solutions to gaps in services for patients who remain underserved by health services unable to meet their needs.
She brings over 5 years of research experience from the University of Pennsylvania and the Perelman School of Medicine. There, she worked directly with patients, analyzed the effect of different biological factors on patients’ health behaviors, and crafted meaningful solutions for care. Lois’ previous work continues to drive her current commitment to promoting greater partnerships and collaboration for health and health services.
Lois received her bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania, and a master’s in Health and the Public Interest from Georgetown University. When she is not thinking about health policy and management, she can be found exercising or worrying about how to keep her plants alive.
